J's Check-up

J had her big appointment yesterday and does NOT have to wear a sling anymore! Woohoo!!! The doctor took a look at her clavicle and felt the bone which seems to be healing well. She did say that the bone healed off set a little bit so J will always have a bump there, which will add character. Some of the bump will be reabsorbed into the body naturally so it won’t be as noticeable. I hope that the amount left will be minimal to the point that if you did not know it was there or if you were not looking for it, you would not see or notice it. She enjoys not having to wear her sling anymore and is back to her crazy self again. There have been a few times that she (or another family member) bumped it on accident and she cried a little. I think it is going to be sore for a while but time will heal it and before you know it she will be back to 100%!
